Amagansett Springs Aquifer Protection is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in our community. Water protection is a responsibility each member of our organization holds in the highest regard, as a responsibility to our community and the world at large.
Meet Alexander Peters
Alexander Peters started ASAP with the intention of protecting one of the most important and overlooked resources in the community. His passion for the aquifer has kept the group going for the last three decades, and his dedication continues to fight for the future of the South Fork.
He currently resides in Springs, where he oversees the wellbeing of the aquifer on a personally with his wife and two dogs.
